Hunter's Den Privacy Policy

Hunter's Den is a local-first browser extension designed to organize browser tabs into separate workspaces called Dens.

Data Collection

Hunter's Den does not sell user data, does not use advertising trackers, and does not use analytics services.

The extension does not transmit browsing data, tab information, saved links, or workspace information to external servers.

Data Used by the Extension

Hunter's Den may access and store the following information locally in the user's browser:

• Open tab URLs and page titles
• Tab organization and Den membership
• Saved tabs and saved links
• Extension preferences and settings
• Internal session and recovery information required to restore Dens

This information is used only to provide the extension's core functionality.

Local Storage

Hunter's Den uses Chrome's storage APIs to save extension state and user preferences locally.

Data remains on the user's device unless the user explicitly exports or otherwise shares it.

Browser Permissions

Used to identify, organize, move, open, close, and restore browser tabs as part of Hunter's Den's core tab-management functionality.

webNavigation
Used to detect navigation changes in browser tabs so Hunter's Den can maintain accurate tab and Den state.

Website Access

Hunter's Den includes a content script that may run on standard HTTP and HTTPS webpages.

This access is used only to support extension functionality related to tab management, such as detecting or displaying information associated with duplicate tabs.

Hunter's Den does not use this access to collect page content for advertising, analytics, profiling, or sale to third parties.

Personal Information

Hunter's Den does not intentionally collect:

• Names
• Email addresses
• Authentication credentials
• Financial information
• Health information
• Personal communications
• Precise location information

Third Parties

Hunter's Den does not sell, rent, or transfer user browsing information to third parties.

Changes to This Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if Hunter's Den's functionality or data practices change.
